Apply for a study stay in Texas!

Students can now apply for a study stay at McLennan Community College in Texas (http://www.mclennan.edu) in the autumn semester 2016 and spring semester 2017. Applicants must send a motivation letter to Zdeněk Janík (janikz@mail.muni.cz) by March 2016

Applicants are asked to come for an interview on Thursday 3 March at 10.00 am, the office #406 (4th floor of Porici 9). Bring your motivation letter and transcript of records!

ERASMUS+ STUDENT MOBILITY FOR 2017/18 – APPLY NOW

Dear students,

You can now apply for Erasmus+ study program in the academic year 2017/18.

Follow the instructions bellow.

Instructions: how to apply? 

  1. Be sure you are eligible for Erasmus+ program.
  1. Choose from the list of Erasmus partners (see below)

You can choose up to two universities. Indicate your first and second choice, including the semester of your stay (autumn or spring).

  1. Fill in the application in the on-line database here.

The on-line application must be filled in between 31 January – 19 February 2017. No applications will be accepted after 19 February.

  1. Come to the interview.

The interviews will be held Tuesday 21/2 2017 from 12:00 am at the Department of English language and literature, room #406 (Zdeněk Janík’s office).

Other International Study Stays

  • McLennan Community College in Waco, Texas, USA

2 students per semester (spring semester January-May; fall semester August-December)

McLennan Community College accepts two students per semester. Students can apply for one semester only, the stay may not be prolonged or repeated. Applicants are interviewed at the English Department of the Faculty of Education. The interview takes place in March for the study stays in the next academic year.  The date of interview is announced on the website and the noticeboards of the Department of English language and literature. Applicants are required to bring to the interview a motivation letter and transcript of records.

McLennan Community College provides accommodation free of charge. The students do not pay tuition and are offered a part time job on the campus. The students financially cover their travel expenses, living expenses (food, clothing, etc.), travel/health care insurance, and fees for visa.

The students arrange their visa with the assistance of the contact person at the host institution.
