Erasmus +; 2015-1-PL01-KA204-016407; 2015-2018
The international project brings together a wide range of expertise (NGOs providing counseling to families from Poland and Austria and the higher education institution from the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom) aims to increase the effectiveness of social work with families at risk of social exclusion. In the last few years, family assistants have proven to be a powerful tool in supporting families in difficult situations or at risk. Such a specific field of activity should be managed by a highly qualified employee with a broad knowledge of sociology, pedagogy, social pedagogy and psychology as well as law and most of all an excellent knowledge of principles of social work. The aim of the project is to share good practice in the field and to develop tools and methods of family assistantship, pilot them and put them into daily practice. Emphasis will be on motivation, planning and case management.
